I founded Space Cadets after an overly-long deep dive into the corporate world because I have always loved technology and helping others solve challenging problems.
My childhood was a chaotic and hilarious adventure as the youngest of 4 kids to a pair of naïve and ambitious parent entrepreneurs starting a winery and a family simultaneously. From early days I explored technology, building computers, setting up dial-up internet and helping install a highly necessary satellite dish to finally remediate the lack of cable television in our rural environment. The bug of curiosity and technical exploration set-in early and hasn’t abated decades later.
However, I took a detour on my way to following in my parents’ business-starting footsteps. An engineering degree came calling, and then a brief dabble in the enterprise world suddenly because a 15 year digression. After taking my personal technology passion to… unnecessary extremes in a home renovation project, I realized it was time for me start doing what I always should have been doing in the first place.
